West Palm Beach, Fla. --NAI/Merin Hunter Codman, the largest commercial real estate brokerage firm in Palm Beach County, today announced that Ryan R. Dinsdale has joined the firm as a Senior Commercial Associate specializing in industrial and office properties. With the addition of Dinsdale, the firm anticipates a boost in its industrial leasing and brokerage activities. In the first ten months of 2009, Dinsdale closed approximately 20 percent of all brokered industrial sales registered in the county.

Dinsdale joins NAI/Merin Hunter Codman from Applefield Waxman Commercial Real Estate, based in Palm Beach Gardens, where he was a commercial associate for four years. While at Applefield Waxman, Dinsdale brokered office/industrial/warehouse transactions around the County including recent sales in West Palm Beach, Jupiter Commerce Park, and a transaction in Lake Park among other locations.
“We’re seeing the spread between expectations of buyers and sellers narrowing,” added Dinsdale. “If you have qualified buyers and realistic sellers, it is possible to get deals done in this market. And as financing becomes more readily available, the opportunities will only increase for well-positioned buyers.”
Dinsdale also notes that industrial/warehouse lease rates in the last two years have dropped by as much as 30 to 40 percent in some cases, allowing tenants opportunities to trade up for higher quality space or negotiate lease renewals at reduced rents.
Dinsdale is a Certified Commercial Investment Member candidate, former Chairman of the Council of Young Professionals of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Economic Forum of Palm Beach County as well as the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.
